Acupuncture in Wauchope

Most people come to acupuncture for a drug-free treatment for pain and gynaecology conditions including menopause and andropause.

“The state of evidence in acupuncture” reported acupuncture treatment had positive beneficial effects for allergic rhinitis, postoperative nausea, knee osteoarthritis, migraine prophylaxis, tension headache, lower back pain, menopause, female infertility (with IVF), cancer related fatigue and chronic prostatitis. Acupuncture is dosage dependent, most trials tested 2 treatments per week over 6-8 weeks.

Chinese medicine has remained an individualised person-centred holistic model of healthcare, pre-dating pharmaceutical medicine.
